Becoming Authors

 I learned that a am a "HERMIT CRAB"! Welcome to my BLOGS and NEWSLETTER! Shout out to friends, family, new Subs! GRATEFUL! Recently, I realized as an astrological sign of "Cancer the crab" that I am a lot like the description! Cancer's like to be home (hermit crab) they walk sideways (to avoid conflict) pull out their pinchers when their feelings are hurt (reactive) and love the BEACH! (that's just me and crabs!)  So, with winter coming, I am becoming a hermit who has unpacked my travel shell (carrying my home everywhere I travel) and embracing HOME! I am writing the sequels to both of my books and supporting other authors in their journey!  I truly enjoy paying forward to my readers and fellow authors through my blogs and newsletter that offer FREE Book giveaways and awareness of some "fantabulous books!"   Two very different genres and both are BRILLIANT! Let me start with;   " Remembering Kaylee Cooper " by  Christopher Francis I LOVE a good ghost story! The fall weather is a perfect time to curl up with a mysterious book and engaged imagination! I was kept 'guessing' about Kaylee and her attachment to Alex. I won't be a 'spoiler' here! However, the author was so clever in weaving the characters and two dimensional worlds together. One thing is for sure any youth  or adult who reads this book, will "Never forget...Kaylee Cooper!" I know, I won't! A brilliant read! Another favorite topic of mine is 'super powers!' I am a kid at heart and I still daydream about having a superpower and what I would do with it! The Super Twins  by  Andy Slinger I shared this story with my elementary ESL Students here in S. Korea. WOW!
