  OH! Christmas Tree...Real vs. Fake?! What is my carbon foot print...?? Recently, I was teaching my students about Real vs Fake Christmas trees and I was shocked! I thought I was doing something GOOD for the environment by NOT cutting down a tree at the Christmas Tree Farm. (just reuse the same tree every year, right?) Well, everyday I learn new facts! Support the tree farmers, produce oxygen, recyclable and no emissions into the air from factories that make plastic trees. Oh CHRISTMAS TREE!!! I have always loved nature. Now, more than ever the earth needs us to be accountable for our part to give back. Our carbon footprint.....   My Students TEACH ME!! I had so much fun teaching  my French, Italian and Dutch students at the Kasteel Van Velm in Belgium! They taught me a few things about grammar that I never knew! I discovered that there is a global language of kindness! I am consistently inspired by my students; their lives, stories and unique views of the world around them. No doubt they are my guiding inspiration within the pages of the books I write! The last month of 2020 is here!! WOW!!! This past year has provided a lot of "interesting' twists and turns! We are stronger together and our families are the most important relationships we will ever invest our time and love in. Can't take the material things with us....we can take the imprints of beauty left upon our souls through the connectivity of the human dynamic!
