Recently, I watched a documentary, “Seaspiracy” on Netflix and I cried through the entire thing. Many scenes, I had to close my eyes and turn down the volume…I could not bear to see the blood of the dolphins and whales being slaughtered and their cries to each other……. My son watched the documentary too. He said, “Mom, in “ When Myloh met Sorry,” you portrayed the fisherman as kind. Maybe in the third book, you should address the fishing industry that is creating extinction of sea life and the cruelty." “Dolphin safe” is NOT safe, it’s a lie…. “Wow”…..Myloh’s Ocean Adventures is a children’s book….and yet adults read it too. I feel a third “Myloh” mission forming….research and diplomacy. Ethics, compassion and awareness….action…..
This book is such a beautiful story. Great for children to learn about friendships, and keeping the environment clean and how to say sorry. This book is an absolute must read to children. Beautifully written and very understandable for children. 5.0 out of 5 stars Delightful story Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 September 2020 A delightful story about Sorry, the helium balloon and her adventures across the ocean. A message book about saving the plant and plastic pollution. A delight to read to all children, grandchildren. A story with a simple message to prompt further important conversation. Great illustrations to capture children's imagination. Reviewed in the United States on March 27, 2021 Verified Purchase -It’s a beautiful love story; share it with your children, it leaves you feeling good;) “Butterfly effect” my friends….oh goodness….my ‘fiction’ bubble is sprinkled in a dose of reality….sending love out into the world!! Update on my series “Tae Sung’s Peculiar Life “ ….. “Tae Sung 180 Degrees “ is the second book that took a ‘time out’ on the shelf, while Myloh’s Ocean Adventure Series caught some waves. “Tae Sung 180 Degrees”, has been a very emotional book for me to write. There is a lot of ‘me’ in the protagonist and the life changes he is facing in this book. I cry through many of the chapters I am writing and it is much more emotionally channeled than my other books. The ‘story arc’ is still ‘rising’ and the map is unknown as it continues to flow….Tae Sung is a special ‘zone’ that I tap into. Somedays, I feel like I need to make an appointment! Rest assured….I am still aiming for a late spring 2021 release. Thanks for reading the first book….the second book is MUCH longer! 5.0 out of 5 stars A moving book Reviewed in Canada on October 31, 2020 A great book for kids about a child who bonds with an injured snake a discovers a whole new world and abilities he never knew he had.
